Meet Scarlett, your guide, and choose your fairy and a pet. Wander a map of four enchanted places, furnish your own rooms, tend a garden that grows in real time, and play simple, friendly games that earn stars. Everything is made for children: no accounts, no adverts and no purchases.
Four places to visit: the Fairy Cottage, the Enchanted Forest, the River Bank and the Fairy Castle. Each has its own picture, music and a short film the first time you arrive, with glowing spots to tap.
Furnish four rooms with 56 pieces of furniture bought with the stars you earn. Drag pieces into place and watch them snap neatly to the walls. Grow flowers and fruit in the garden.
Memory match, Fairy Lander, Look and find, Picture puzzle, Balloon pop, How many?, Go fishing, Mushroom melody, Royal bells and more, all short, gentle and free of pressure.
Choose from seven fairies and six pets. Listen to three read-aloud stories and answer a question at the end, and play the Word hunt, where a friendly voice says each word. Works with touch, mouse and keyboard.
There are no accounts, adverts, purchases, chat or links out of the game. Progress stays on your device. A “For parents” page inside the game explains it all in plain words. An optional Online button can download extra stories, furniture and rooms; it only ever downloads.
Questions, bug reports, or feedback are welcome -- email dev@coolin.co.uk directly.
ScarlettFairyWorld does not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and there is no account or sign-in. It collects no personal information about your child. The only time it uses the internet is the optional Online button, which only downloads extra content.
ScarlettFairyWorld (“the app”) is a children’s game published by Coolin & Serversoup for Windows (Microsoft Store). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information. It is written in plain language because the app is made for children and their parents or carers.
The app does not collect any personal information about your child or you, has no accounts, and sends nothing about your child anywhere. It has no advertising, no purchases and no analytics or tracking. Everything the app remembers stays on your own device. The only time it uses the internet is the optional Online feature, which only downloads extra content.
The app stores the following on your device only, in the app’s own local data:
The app does not ask for or store your child’s name, age, location, photographs, voice, contacts or any other personal information. This information never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
The app works fully without the internet. It uses the internet only when the Online window is opened, and for an optional quiet check at start-up (on by default, and it can be switched off) to see whether new extra content is available. In both cases the app only downloads: first a small list of available packs, and then, only if you choose “Get”, the pack itself. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is sent about your child.
Each downloaded pack contains only pictures, sounds, video and text, never programs, and is checked against a checksum before it is used; anything that does not match is thrown away.
The extra content is hosted by the developer on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). As with downloading any file from the internet, the servers that deliver the file can see that a request arrived from your internet connection and the standard details of that request. The app adds no name, identifier, cookie or progress to the request; it sends only its own product name (“FairyWorld”) in the standard request label. This is not used to identify anyone and is not linked to any person. Amazon handles these standard delivery details under its own privacy terms.
The music, sound effects, spoken words and pictures are part of the app and are played on your device. The app does not record sound and does not use the microphone or camera. The artwork, music and voices were created with the help of AI tools during development and then selected and arranged by the developer; nothing is generated while the app runs and nothing is sent to any AI service.
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
The app is designed for children aged 7 to 12, to be enjoyed with a parent or carer nearby. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, there is no information about a child for the developer to hold, use or share. There are no adverts, no purchases, no chat or messaging and no links out of the app. The stars in the game are play rewards only and have no money value.
The app includes no third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. The Microsoft Store may collect standard install and crash statistics under its own privacy policy; the developer receives only aggregated reports from the store.
Everything the app remembers is kept on your device only. Within the app you can take away any downloaded pack in the Online window. To remove everything, uninstall the app from Windows (Settings, then Apps).
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new “last updated” date.
